Rain has been falling for the past couple of days and the temps have been in the low 70's (compared to the high 90's), so I thought some comfort food would be in order.
Beef and barley soup with potatoes, carrots, green beans and corn, a small salad and a big slice of multi-grain bread. That was dinner tonight and it was great comfort food!
Comfort drink?
I popped open my last bottle of 1995 Rosemount McLaren Vale GSM after I chilled it to about 65 F.
Talk about comfort wine with comfort food. I just wish I had a couple more cases of this stuff hanging around waiting for me to drink it.
Now it is nothing but a memory, but a comfortable one.
