Barossa, Australia

A mixture of red and black fruits charge at you out of the glass. Also a touch of cream and some smoke. The palate has the same flavors. Very impressive. Something meaty on the palate as well. The balance is incredible. Supple midpalate and an incredibly long finish.

Couldn't finish this one the other night. So, just put a cork back in it; left it on the coffee table; and got back to it last night after work. The fruit turned darker, almost blue, but didn't diminish at all. Still great mouthfeel and longggggg finish. I believe this one could even be better on day two than day one if that's possible. Stunning effort!

I do think some wines are better the second day. Do you know the retail price in your region, Mark?

I don't know if it is still available around here. But it was somewhere around $18 to $20. Well worth the dough.
