- jv38 - 11-11-2005 My good friends of Wine Spectator gave this wine 89... I kind of trust these guys. They kind of give you good reviews. This is not the first time that I try a wine that they recommend. And that's what I did this time. This wine is fruit forward, for some reason just taste like a Beaujolais Nouveau. Like everything is there but not ready yet... Disappointing for a Friday Night. - brappy - 11-12-2005 John Larchet is the importer of this wine. It's one of his value selections. And it really is a great value. I bought 6 bottles when it was released. The best way to try this wine is to double-decant and taste until it opens all the way. It's made in Western Australia which is not as well known (As a wine producing region)as say the Barossa, South Australia, etc. But at $10-$13, this is a great wine. However, maybe your palate just doesn't agree. disclaimer: I have nothing to do with this wine except enjoy it. |
