Barolo Bricco Rocche, Brunate, Cerreto 1994. A local wineseller is offering it for $30, saying it was overlooked in the demand for 95's. I don't usually spend this much on wine, but I would get a bottle or two if it's a good deal since my love of Italian wine seems to be ever-increasing and I'd like to have more sense of what Barolo is about. Any opinions?

Cerreto or Ceretto ?

Ceretto is a big producer of Piedmont wines in a style which can be considered a good combination of traditional and modern techniques (more modern than traditional).

The price is good (I would say onest)
...not a real bargain since 1994 was one of the less important vintages during the last decade of XX century.

Anyway I will buy it and give a chance to one of the most famous cru(s) of Barolo...

Oops, "Ceretto" it is. Perhaps I will give it a try.
