2000 Ritratti, Trentino, Pinot Grigio ($17.00 Is-Wine). We've chugged through almost a case of this this past week or so since we've had a houseful of guests. Have consumed it with various kinds of seafood as well as general quaffing. Others tossed some different PGs into the mix including 2000 Santa Margherita, and 2000 Placido. There was no comparison. Of course the Ritratti cost more too, but this time the extra cost was well worth it. All them were nicely floral on the nose, and fruity upfront. The Ritratti kicked into high gear with earthy spiciness across the palate, and a refreshing finish.

Another wine tossed into the fray one day was 1999 Sonoma-Cutrer, Russian River Valley, Estate Bottled, Chardonnay. It is now my nominee for Oakiest Chardonnay in Existence. It beats out the Forest Glen for a league, and that is going some. A second bottle was never opened.

IK, we charge $15 for that wine; have you been over-charged or did you include the cost of delivery?

Sorry, $15.00 it is.
