Very fresh scent when opening up.

Light garnet red in color, almost like a typical burgundy, pretty in the sun (I wish I was in Italy when drinking this...) Nice fresh nose with strawberries, hint of wood, nice clean mouth feel and that nice Italian acidity. Not particularly complex but worked very well with a lighter pasta dinner that we had that night. May not stand up to a pot roast.

okay, I was wrong...it stood up to a pot roast that I had tonight. I think it was the acidity that did it. Thoroughly enjoyable and same notes except that I underestimated the structure.
