- samuellp - 12-06-2002 I recently found a 1973 Bolla Flask it has very few other markings. Any Info would help. It has a wicker bottom. - wondersofwine - 12-06-2002 Welcome to the board. The wicker is not an auspicious sign. It was often used in the past for inexpensive chiantis--table wine for everyday drinking. Do you know if this is a Chianti? My guess is that the wine is well past its prime. - Thomas - 12-06-2002 It's not a Chianti and it's likely not even good vinegar right now... - samuellp - 12-09-2002 I found upon further investigation that it is a bolla bordolino which was discussed earlier by some one else. I suppose its best value would be as an antique collectors peice and not a wine!!! - scimmiatinit - 12-10-2002 B"a"rdolino... |
