Aother from Roberto. 80% Negroamara and 20% Malvasia Nera grapes. Black as Buck-Snorts' heart. Nose of black fruits, sweet spices, chocolate, and earth. Gig entry, weighty center and a 3&1/2 lapper finish. Perfect with my eggplant parmasan. Very fine P/Q at 16.99 a clatter.

Perfect with your eggplant parmesan!

WW, would you please tell this to IK: that wine is from southern Italy and it pairs beautifully with thick tomato sauce.

Sorry Foodie, we tried it and left a post for you a while back: http://www.wines.com/ubb2/Forum19/HTML/000109.html

If I read that post correctly, you were talking about Grenache. No relationship to this thread.

You can't compare thinner, spicier Grenache with lush, plum-like Negroamaro/Malvasia Nero.

It isn't just low acid that does the work; its texture and structure as well.

And that sucker had both of them attribeauties. WW
