From Sicily. This was disappointing. My first reaction was, "is this watered down?". Soon realized that the problem was a seeming lack of tannins. What was supposed to be a powerhouse wine turned out to be a bit of a sissy. Didn't finish it. $18

I think you can do a lot better for much less money. We've had a good handful in the $10 and under range. Search Nero d'Avola by Innkeeper.
