Picked gthis up on a whim at Sam's Club last week, and decided to try with pizza tonight.
Opaque in the glass with slight bricking at the rim; nose of crushed red fruits on a forest floor; very fine structure on the palate, leading to a lip-smacking finish. 13% alc/vol and in the $10-$12 range (can't find the receipt). A gold medal winner at the 2003 French Challenge International du Vin.
