5.5% alcohol frizzante
Crimson color with some transparency.
Quite sweet. Seems sweeter than the Banfi Rosa Regale (also a Brachetto d'Acqui) but good with dark or semisweet chocolates.
I prefer the Banfi but the local wine shop carried only the Pineto.

Didn't think anyone but Banfi bottled this juice. I believe I read that there is one small area worldwide, maybe a hundred acres, that even produce BdA. True?
On another note..... people love when we crack a bottle of this alongside a rich, chocolaty dessert. It has not failed to please yet, especially among the less-than-oenophiles. It ain't a Suduiraut or TBA but it sure seems to have it's place.
