My first Dolcetto d'Acqui. The aroma of blackberries and plums was followed up with tastes of dark berries, plums, and a hint of licorice. This was a fairly acidic wine, and paired well with sausage ravioli in tomato sauce, and spinach salad on the side. A lively and tasty wine, though more tannic than expected. 12% Alc., $9 (Discount Liquors)
