Wanted an older Barbaresco for cedar plank salmon but this was all I could find in the cellar. Too young but too bad, so shoot me. Clear ruby in the glass, beautiful nose of crushed dried flowers on a bed of cedar, lip-smacking red & black fruit on the palate, delightful finish.... simply too short, needs to last about three hours 'til bedtime. 13% alc/vol and about $22.

The fishy was wild Copper River and grilled over oak coals, served with fettucine and the mixed veggies she tossed into the mix. I'm not near a nice enough guy to deserve a meal like this!
