Thought I'd posted this last night but it's nowhere to be found today. Sigh.

Very pale straw color in the glass; soft muted nose, promising ripe fruit without slamming you in the face; delivers on the palate with a nice crisp mouthfeel, good fruit flavor, enough acid to make it very food-friendly; moderate to longish finish for a PG. Zero RS. And a screw-cap! Who'd a thunk it?! But it's an early drinker, so who cares? 13.5% alc/vol and about $15 at Costco. Case buy - will replace the now-sweet Tommasi PG in my line-up. With shrimp and pasta in a creamy sauce (Francesco Rinaldi Sun-Dried Tomato Alfredo) with yellow squash. Would have preferred a Barbaresco but didn't have one on hand; no matter, this worked just fine. Dessert was cobbler a la mode made with peaches I had picked in Fredericksburg a couple of days ago (not my orchard - paid $35 for a half bushel).
