MMMMMM!!! Good!! I had this in November and again a few days ago and what really stands out is an intense beam of ripe, tangy cherry throughout the palate. There are hints of the usual suspects, tobacco, leather, etc., but this wine is dominated by its fruit and acid. Not much tannin to speak of. I suppose it could be criticized for insufficient complexity, but I like it. At $30/ bottle from Zupan's in Portland this is a pretty good deal in Brunello.
