Sicilian IGT from Nero D'Avola and Syrah.
Intriguing yeasty nose. Powerful dark fruits on the palate with subtle tannins. 14% alcohol and $15 at is-wine. Everyone at the dinner party preferred it to the Marquis-Philips 2002 Shiraz at the same price point.
