I think I'm giving up on finding another bottle of this stuff. My girlfriend had it 3 or 4 times a couple of years ago and it's still her favorite wine ever. I've been trying to hunt it down with no success. Can anyone that is familiar with this particular wine/vintage suggest a similar tasting wine that is more easily obtainable? I of course tried more recent vintages of the same, but she hasn't been as happy with them.

I saw on the other thread that Innkeeper found a place in Washington D.C. that may have the wine you're looking for, but if you want alternatives, there is a great shop in So Cal that has an extensive Italian wines focus.

Wine Exchange

Ask for Roberto, and I'm sure he'll point you in the right direction. He is a frequent poster on this board.

Ryan ole bean, think maybe the Atlanta Dan-Boy may have had a glass too many but think he may have meant to tell you to talk to Roberto at the Wine Expo in Santa Monica. Call 1-800 wine expo. He is the real deal in Italian wines. Can steer you to something that may suffice. WW

Many thanks, the only thing better than a direct answer is directions to multiple answers!
