We really like this winery, and have had several in the past that pleased us. We found they had a tendency to be a bit, well, masculine early on, however, so we wanted to give this one a bit of time in the cellar. Decanted 30 minutes before 1st pour. Garnet color, with nose of black cherry and plum. Those fruit flavors came out, but seemed subdued. There wasn't anything that really stood out, and there lacked the forest floor thing that I look for in Oregon Pinot. It also tasted faintly hot, despite the fact that the alc. was only 13.5%. This wan't a bad wine, but it just didn't come all together for me like I was hoping. Paid $24.
