- winoweenie - 04-01-2004 Brian sources the grapes from this lovely property in the Santa Lucia Highlands. 150 cases total production. Nose of brite cherry, cassis, spices and an undertone of candy-like caramel apple.Gorgeous fruit with some red plum added to the taste. Silky but assertive in the middle and a solid 3&1/2 lapper finish.Should carry 2-4 years of cellaring but mite be aufully hard to keep my fat-fingers off'n them that long. Good stuff. 90/90. 46. 14.1% alc WW - Kcwhippet - 04-01-2004 It is an awful hard bottle to ignore. - wondersofwine - 04-01-2004 It's good to see WW on the Pinot Noir thread occasionally. More power to Brian. - winoweenie - 04-01-2004 WOW PN is my 3rd wine of choice. Have made many postings in the past on this delicious varietal. WW |
