Had dinner with clients in a nice place on the waterfront in Vancouver (Cadero?). Nice enough place and reasonably priced. client picked wines. Usually my credit card cringes in fear of the four digit bottle (and generally never happens...but three $400 bottles will get you there just a bit slower).

So they immediately picked this one and I breath a bit easier. Srewcap bottled. Nose was of sweet almost jello like strawberries and berries, rose, and other sweet fruits. Very ripe, little depth, pleasant, almost beaujoulais like and simple. Their SB's are so much better.
