- hades_ibex - 12-21-2004 These are little pastries stuffed with feta cheese and spinach with some onion and garlic too. - wondersofwine - 12-21-2004 I would suggest Sauvignon Blanc with the spinach dish--a New Zealand one such as Kim Crawford or Charles Wiffen or Selaks or a California one such as St. Supery or Honig or one from Sancerre, France (Reverdy, Cotat, Fournier, etc.). Or, since it is a Greek dish, maybe a mild Greek white wine (ask a good wine shop for a recommendation if they carry Greek wines). - Thomas - 12-21-2004 For Greek, look for Savatiano or Moschofilero--but don't trust my spelling... - hades_ibex - 12-21-2004 Thanks a lot. A couple of websites I went to recommended Beujolais with Feta, but I was thinking more along the lines of whites for these. |
