I learned the other day about inserting accent marks in another language and have already forgotten the process and I'm too lazy to look it up again. There should be an accent over the first "e" in Romanee.

Imported by Vintner Select, Cincinnati
Label has a Medieval or Renaissance figure (almost like an icon of a saint) holding a pruning hook in the right hand and a cluster of reddish-purople grapes in the left hand. Is there a saint of grape growers and wine makers?

12.5% alcohol and deep garnet color
Quite aromatic--dark berries and cherries

The first night the taste was of tart cherries and fruits--better with food. It seemed less tart and more enjoyable the 2nd and 3rd nights. I had it with a beef-mushroom soup and also with Bing cherries and Gorgonzola cheese. Quite a nice village Vosne-Romaneee. I don't remember if this was offered at a sale price. It was probably less that $40 anyway and may have been on sale.

Sounds like a fine bottle. It's amazing how much a cellar journal helps on them there numbers WW
