This is my favourite Burgundy producer! If I only buy one a year, he is it.
Unfortunately this bottle did it no justice. It was very very very muted. Nose of strawberries but very little else. In a bugundy glass, the nose became thinner but a bit more distine, with some floral scents. Did open up a bit later but was alway very muted. I wonder if it is downhill or just very very asleep....

Hard to say with Burgundies. Do you know if it is a Premier Cru or lieu dit? I have a Roumier Chambolle Musigny (I think 1999) and may open that before the summer ends.

Yup..this is the ier Cru from Clos de la bussiere.
