We had no bad wines tonight.

Picked up for the meal specifically (quite a few including myself had lamb). Nose of red and ripe fruits, cherries, This was an elegant, medium bodied, burgundy with a good density of flavours, very clean, nice acidity backbone, persistent, good finish, lingering on the the senses with a nice spicy finish. This one was also WAAYYY too young but it was very fresh and approachable.

For four bottles, the bill could have been crazy, but here, the bill was very reasonable.
