Light, Brite ruby. Subdued nose that eventually reveals olive, black cherries, spice and meaty notes. All come over on the palate. Soft entry. Nice center and a 3&3/4ths lapper finish. SDtill needs time to shed some tannins. Hard for me to judge Burgandy Wines as my palate is more attuned to the more aggressive Pinots of my beloved Calif. I'll try this again in another 5-8 and see if I can decipher the nuances better than now. I have no problem with Bordeaux but haven't had much luck with the supposedly great wines from the Burgandy region. Alc 13%. WW
