Either I'm evolving into a pinot fan, this wine is just that good, or both. Went beautifully with pork tenderloin last night and even held up solo after dinner during a movie. Bright bright red fruit just kept coming with a wonderful, long, round finish. We bought a couple of these when visiting Fred this past June and will need more in the cellar for sure. If I was the rating type, this sucker would be in the mid 90's.

The wine is just " That Good ". Fred knows his way around the Pinot grape as he was either the assn't or winemaker at Dehlinger for 10 years. WW

It amost felt strange posting a new topic in the Pinot Forum.

Think I've posted on some of the earlier vintages but until we revised our archaic shipping laws haven't had any of his later pinots . Still have the 00 and 01 in the cellar. WW

Fred told me what you used to do WW. Pulled up to the winery and loaded your Lincoln with cases until the tires were rubbing the fenders. Maybe time for a road trip?

Yeah, Fred had a few things to say to us about WW last month.

- winoweenie - 09-07-2006

It only held 19 cases and 6 magnums in the back seat if loaded properly. Used to make 6 trips yearly. WW

Fred said I would have really enjoyed those parties you threw.
