Certainly my style of Pinot. Lighter ruby color than the Trenton Estate. Floral notes with a faint air of mushroom. Cassis, berries, and a bit of forest floor accentuate the fruit. Well balanced wine and will no doubt be substantially more polished in 5 years maybe a few more. Terroire is comprised of lighter volcanic sandstone which no doubt contributed to its higher abundancy from the Trenton Estate. Picked up 4 bottles of this youngster.

Interesting to see your note on this Joseph Swan Pinot. I've had an Eric Ross Saralee's Vineyard Pinot and have one bottle remaining. It was pretty robust for a Pinot so I'm thinking I will open the second bottle with grilled or broiled meat.
