Light garnet and very clear in color. Simple and straight forward bright red fruit (Rasberries?) nose and taste. Wine was rather tannic at the start but after about an hour, settled down. A very focused wine and rather pure and a good amount of acidity. Some gameyness noted after about 1 hour of opening.

Very young still and should have the capability to last for a wee while... and it is a 2002...all this for a mear $12.. Good QPR.

One of our favorites year in and out. Very steady producer.
