Grilled salmon night yesterday, so . . . it's Oregon pinot time!

Dark ruby color, some sort of something from the mint family on the nose. Smooth texture on the palate with flavors of cherry and the leafy side of sous-bois. Still a bit of tannin on the finish. Light to medium bodied. Very good. An excellent performance considering the vintage and the fact that this is Willakenzie's pinot ordinaire.
