Cote d'Or
Heres the winemakers notes:
"75% Marsannay, all hillside vineyards. 10% Gevrey, 15% Bourgogne old vines, next to Chambolle and Vosne-Romanee. All purchased grapes. Deeper color; more vinous, with more depth and class. On the nose, smoky and rustic. On the palate, some black licorice and silky acidity. Easy, lush, minty chocolate; has more tannins but they are ripe. Very easy and grapey, very pure and elegant for a Bourgogne."

Here's what we tasted:
Somewhat diluted and simple. Rose petals on the nose and subtle forest floor aromatics with cherry and raspberry flavors. Lithe with a silky texture but lacks depth. Every sip I said "something's missing". Not a bad wine, and better with food, but easier to forget.
13% Alc/vol. $19.99
