Rather imagine there's a Vacancy sign up in the Willamette Valley now. Our local bottom feeder at WE outdid hisselfless-heartless self on this deal! A 95 and a 96 Willamette Valley Pinot Noir at the rediculously high(giggle) price of 3.99 and 5.99 per clatter. The Hyland bottling is absolutely superb.
(It's the 96.)
The 95 shows some age but at either price pernt would have Drew drooling and come in the store with his colt drawn. Bring on the prime rib. WW

I'm drooling and the weapon of choice is a Glock .40......

The '98 Hyland at $3.99 is no slouch, either.

According to some e-mail traffic today, he's out of them. Recommend you go for the six buck barbera as I did, while it is still available. As the venerable Dan Berger says, in today's wine glut, when the bottom feeder strikes, reel it in fast. When you don't live in Napa Valley, Roberto is the next best thing.

And can assure you that in Napa there is never a major DUMP. All of the winemakers would rather become Eunochs and guard Helen Turleys' Pottie than admit they overpriced their juice. As I said a year ago, they be a mojor glut of juice out there. ,,,,,Some good .... some bad... but ebbery bottle needs to be turned into cash. Be Patient me lil' friends. The Dot-Coms are sick, the silicon valley is using helium to keep the spirits uplifted , and the latest WS Auction Calander shows that the stupidity of the pricing by the French, Napans, and Italians has finally, maybe not bust the bubble, but thar sucker sure as the devil has a slow leak. Be careful wif' your wine 'spenditures. WW

Only mentioned Napa because Dan wrote about a friend that lives there who keeps his ear to the ground and is able to pick up great buys on wines that renown wineries are slipping out the back door to make room for new vintages.
