- Drew - 03-19-2002 What a wonderful Pinot for $22! Slightly darker than most and displaying the earthy side of Pinot, I found this wine to be very well balanced and complex. Flavors of chocolate covered cherries tease you while enjoying the mushroom, earth, and dark spice flavors that make this wine a winner that finishes long. 13% Alc/vol. Drew - winoweenie - 03-19-2002 96? Did Jed hold back the release of this dude or is this a Drew-Find? WW - Drew - 03-19-2002 Twas a Drew find! Drew Cleuseau - winoweenie - 03-19-2002 IT FLIGGERS!!!WW - vinman - 03-20-2002 Thanks Drew! I'm a bit goofy, but will definately give this wine a double-double! - Drew - 03-20-2002 Good Pinot tends to be expensive and many moderately priced ones are cloyingly "candied" sweet to me. This one was balanced and rich with good earthy flavors that matched nicely with Jamaican Jerk chicken! Drew |
