Decanted 30 minutes before pouring. Deep reddish purple in color, with cranberry and chocolate on the nose. Made from RRV fruit, this wine shows great Pinot texture, carrying some nice cherry/cranberry fruit and meaty flavors on a long finish, where the chocolate pops back into the picture. We'll look for it again. Anne liked it very much, and it disappeared fast. Ran about $30 locally. Alc. 14.5%.

I was thinking that was an inexpensive line but apparently not. Price is more in line with Byron and Ponzi, Torii Mor, etc.
