- hotwine - 04-26-2005 Wowee, a beautifully crafted pinot under $20! Darker in the glass than a typcically-colored cranberry style PN; muted nose, making me worry there's nothing there; then the tongue tip hollers Yikes! This be some real juice! Red fruit and enough spice to make it interesting, even a little soil undertone, silky smooth mouthfeel and a nice finish. 13.8% alc/vol and about $14. With herbed bbq'd chicken, green beans, flat nudelln. I've been given the mission to buy more. - wondersofwine - 04-27-2005 That's one I haven't seen or tried Hotwine. Sounds nice. - dananne - 04-27-2005 Bought a bottle of this about a month ago on the rec of my local Whole Foods wine guy. Look forward to trying it. Thanks for the note! - winoweenie - 04-27-2005 On my "to-do-list" WW - hotwine - 04-27-2005 Will be interested to see the notes from youse guys. I considered having one with buggers tonight, but opted for the '03 Seghesio Sonoma instead. 's OK, but my earlier note still holds. - wondersofwine - 04-28-2005 Sorry you had to eat "buggers," Hotwine. Was that Seghesio wine a Pinot Noir or Zinfandel? - hotwine - 04-28-2005 It was the '03 Sonoma Zin. Haven't seen a PN from Seghesio in this area. - tw - 04-28-2005 I've also had a bottle of the Lincourt for a while I'll have to crack it open and see for myself.
