Wowee, a beautifully crafted pinot under $20! Darker in the glass than a typcically-colored cranberry style PN; muted nose, making me worry there's nothing there; then the tongue tip hollers Yikes! This be some real juice! Red fruit and enough spice to make it interesting, even a little soil undertone, silky smooth mouthfeel and a nice finish. 13.8% alc/vol and about $14. With herbed bbq'd chicken, green beans, flat nudelln. I've been given the mission to buy more.

That's one I haven't seen or tried Hotwine. Sounds nice.

Bought a bottle of this about a month ago on the rec of my local Whole Foods wine guy. Look forward to trying it. Thanks for the note!

On my "to-do-list" WW

Will be interested to see the notes from youse guys. I considered having one with buggers tonight, but opted for the '03 Seghesio Sonoma instead. 's OK, but my earlier note still holds.

Sorry you had to eat "buggers," Hotwine. Was that Seghesio wine a Pinot Noir or Zinfandel?

- hotwine - 04-28-2005

It was the '03 Sonoma Zin. Haven't seen a PN from Seghesio in this area.

I've also had a bottle of the Lincourt for a while I'll have to crack it open and see for myself.
