I need to bring wine to a dinner party with a number of different main dishes. ther's broiled fish with lemon butter sauce, some veggie w/ chicken curry, an italian dish and a couple more dishes. Given those types, what kind of wine will be good with most of them if not all.

Welcome to the Wine Board. If you are bringing at least two bottles, bring a Pinot Grigio, and a Barbara d'Alba.

Hey Rocket Man. For that Curry dish, definitely go with a Gewurztraminer (a California one, because these tend to be sweeter than Alsatians, and less expensive than German ones). Gewurztraminer is a spicy/sweet wine that balances hot, spicy dishes like curry.
I posted a message about Gerwurztraminer for a non-Asian, but spicy salmon recipe that i found, so i hope someone replies. Anyway, good luck. :')
