Decanted 30 minutes before 1st pour. Dark garnet in color. Aromas and flavors of cherry, plum, and red spices. Though it offers nice red fruits, it is undone a bit with some prickly heat on the finish. It's 14.2% alc., but it feels hotter than that, which isn't all that unusual given the vintage. We didn't buy it on either of our last two trips to the Willamette Valley, but rather at Binny's in Chicago. We paid $25. I'd like to taste something from a better year, like the '05. Just rated "OK" from Anne.
