- Magic2005 - 09-10-2005 I just tryed a Scott Paul 2003 Pinot Noir named 2003 Three Barrels Pinot Noir there were only 73 cases produced and it is at $50 but well worth the cost I just was able to get 7 Bottles at my local store but was told that was the last. would recomend to get if you have a chance. Very complex for this type of wine great with Beef or other meaty dishes. - dananne - 09-11-2005 Tasted it at the Carlton Winemaker's Studio last month when I was out there. Agree it is a good one, but didn't come home with because of the price tag. Welcome to the board! - Bucko - 09-11-2005 Yup -- Oregon likes those BIG price tags. - wondersofwine - 09-12-2005 I agreed with Dan that that was the best of the Pinot Noir flight at Carlton Studio that day. I was disappointed in the Hamacher. - dananne - 09-12-2005 We were, too. Also, I found it kind of wierd that we tasted this one first, then moved onto those Hamacher wines later. Seems backwards. |
