- dananne - 09-15-2005 Oregon. "Whole Cluster Fermented." This one wasn't a bad quaffing PN at $14, with good varietal fruit, though it had the nose and weight of a Cru Beaujolais. My wife drank it pretty fast, though I only had a sip -- on meds after a pretty horrible car wreck earlier this week. With the Queen of Hearts PN at $9.99, this one isn't going to make the cut as a "house pinot," but we only bought one anyway, so it's fine. Alc. 13.5%. - Innkeeper - 09-16-2005 Very sorry to hear about the car wreck. Hope you and it are in good repair. I find Vintage Port to be the best medicine. - Georgie - 09-16-2005 Hope you're ok, Dan! - wondersofwine - 09-16-2005 Adding my wishes for a quick recovery. - dananne - 09-17-2005 Thanks, all. The wreck was pretty bad (my SUV was hit on the driver's side, flipped on it's side, and pushed across an intersection and into a power line pole that crushed the roof and windshield), but I came out of it mostly unscathed. Seatbelts. I'll plan to explore the Vintage Port treatment plan . . . - robr - 09-17-2005 Wow! Sounds like a bad one! Seat belts are a wonderful invention, as are SUV's. I hope I never have to drive an itty-bitty car ever again. - Kcwhippet - 09-18-2005 Dan!!! That sounds terrible!! We hope you're doing well. That sounds like something we've seen on Spike TV - World's Scariest Police Videos. Watched that one almost twice, but the host Sheriff John Bunnell is a jerk. Glsd to hear you made it out fine. Vehicles can be replaced, you can't. Hope to see you and Anne next year in Sonapanoma - or wherever. - TheEngineer - 09-18-2005 Health above all. Glad to hear that you are okay. - dananne - 09-21-2005 Thanks again, all, for your thoughts. And KC, Anne and I are planning on Sonapanoma. - winoweenie - 09-22-2005 Dad-Burnett Dan so sorry to hear about the wreck. I've driven enough in Atlanta to know the dangers. You can bet you're sweet bippy CB and I will be in Napasonomahoma for the next off-line. God loves wine-drinkers. WW |
