Ruby red in color. Decanted 20 minutes before 1st pour. Pretty cherry and raspberry aromas, a floral element, and a bit of smoke. Racy flavors of red fruits, mixed with red spices and cinnamon stick on the finish. Earthy elements balance the fruit, and the wine is ripe without being heavy. Very vibrant and juicy. Alc. a very reasonable 13%. Wines like this remind me that when you hit on a good Burg, it's a home run. Anne loved it, and I wish I had bought more. I paid about $35 locally, but it was closer to the $20 price point when I did a brief 'net search for it. At my price, we were happy, so imagine what a steal it'd be at $20! Excellent wine.
