I had two versions of this last night, the regular and The South Slope.

Both looked exactly the same, an opaque garnet purple, and the nose was full with lots going on, ripe red fruits, wood, cola, earth and a spicyness to it. It was the same on the palate, chewy, lots going on, dense flavors per the nose. The South Slope is about $10 more expensive but little brother was nothing to sneeze at either. $29.99 and $39.99 respectively. I would have been entirely happy with the base bottle. The South Slope bottle was a bit more dense in flavor and a smig more balanced but perhaps not worth the $10 for me.
