Finally opened the bottle I bought at Dean & Deluca in Charlotte. I paid $13.95 there but it is usually less than that if carried in a grocery store, etc. Forgot to write down the alcohol level but some of their Pinots (from different regions) go from 13.8 to 14.5%. (Checked last night and the label says 13.5% alcohol). Burgundy to purple color. Dark berries, plums and violets on the nose. Sour cherry/blackberry flavor. Attractive and quite "juicy." Medium-length finish. Decent QPR even at the $13.95 Dean & Deluca charges. I would say this was better than most under $15 Pinot Noirs. Quite drinkable for $10 less than I usually pay for a California or Oregon Pinot NOir.
