Had this with some clients at Sea Salt in Berkeley.

My first Sea Smoke and I get why it deserve the attention. Needed a decanter. Ths PN is more burgundian in style than CA PN's Ripe and dense but not lush and smooth. It has a great backbone and the wine was nicely made, clean and focused. Perhaps lacking in some commplexity that I would expect of a good Burgundy but not bad.

A friend opened this for me last week in SF and I'm just getting to this note. Same notes as above and I enjoyed it just as much. What it gives up in commplexity, it gives in texture and ripeness. Very enjoyable.

I've enjoyed this killer vineyards juice since their 1st bottling. Think I've posted on a bunch of all 3 vineyards. WW

I will definitely try to get to the other two vineyards! Which one do you like the best?

Nachurely the most expensive and most tightly rationed the "10". But you wont find any Botella or Southing in me trash can. WW

I bought a few bottles this past week. Can't wait to try one, but man are they expensive and you can't ever buy them by the case...

Third time now with this bottle in the last few months and the same notes....I should see if I can get on the mailing list.....

Hey, Engineer...

I'm on the Sea Smoke mailing list but can no longer afford to buy. In fact, haven't been able to purchase any for a couple consecutive vintage, so my allotment is very small now. But if you can't get onto the list, you're welcome to my allotment.

If interested, post and I'll give you my e-mail.

Newsie!

This is very kind of you! Please email me at engineer8 at gmail dot com.

I'm on the list but have been just waiting...
