Color a touch darker than ruby, with black cherry and cinnamon on the nose. Like flavors, with a good round texture and nice acidity to keep it balanced. A clean finish that includes some forest floor. Pretty Pinot fruit and generally well-made. Paid $58 for it at a nice restaurant in Atlanta called Dish. It's impossible to buy in stores in Georgia, so when I saw it I likely overpaid to try it. Plus, it was Anne's birthday dinner, so we splurged. BTW, the dinner was stellar and I strongly recommend the restaurant.

A stellar RRV producer. Next time in San Diego Vintage wines has this product. Paid 32 for the 01. Lovely stuff. WW

I'm a little surprised even Vintage Wines can obtain it. She says they sell most of their wine to restaurants or through the winery (mailing lists).
