Took these among other pinots to San Diego and feel confident even the most critical (don't get paranoid herr Dock-i-teer) palates will agree these are some killer bottlings from the Pinot grape. Not really a bunch of actual tasting notes but the consensus was they were both outstanding with the 10 being the better. Just a moderate amount of silky tannins left so this is a drink or hold advisory. WW

Opened the last of the 10s' for lunch yesterday. Clear brite rucy. Explosive nose of red fruits, sweet spices, flowers and some terrior. Entry was soft and supple, the center weighty and a 4&1/2 lapper finish. No objectionable tannins so is close to the TOIG. an impressive bottle of juice. 93/92. 52 on the mailing list. 13.8% alc. WW
