Light, fragrant, floral, red cherries, oak, soft tannins. Easy to drink, good beginner pinot noir, but there is nothing complex about this wine. I have never been a big fan of NZ pinot noir (as of yet), but thought about tasting this recommended pinot under $10. Good value, 85-86 points.

I haven't tried many Pinot Noirs from New Zealand but my favorite so far is from Martinus http://www.martinus.co.nz/aboutus.php
They produce only Pinot Noirs.
