- winoweenie - 03-18-2006 Kick-patootie juice.Brilliant ruby. Nose of rose petals, brite bing cherries, red plums, and sweet spices. All come over on the palate along with a scoche of orange peel and weathered saddle leather. Smooth entry, heavy senter and a killer 4&3/4 lapper finish. No trace of tannins. Depth shows this puppy should hold another 4-5. As bout as good as RRV Pinot gets. 92/88. 50 on futures. 14.6% alc. WW - Bucko - 03-19-2006 $50 is getting up there. Sad to see prices out of reach of many consumers. - winoweenie - 03-19-2006 It's a way of life now. This bottling had less than 200 cases produced unfortunately. Reviewing the baby brother after I finish this.WW |
