An assemblage that Rod came up with a few vintages ago. Lovely floral nose. Red brite fruit, lively acidity, a tad of barnyard and finishes with tart wild strawberries. Typically RRV with a nice dose of forest floor. A really satisfying bottling that will improve with another 1-3 of ageing. Not quite as complex as the Trenon Estate but really a kick-patootie P/Q at 22 per. 89/91. 14% alc. WW

Served this to the assembled family and frieds after the memorial mass today. A real hit with all. Went thru 7 bottles with the requisite Cougar Gold and roasted turkey breast. Beautiful food-friendly wine. WW
