Had this with a spread of Sonoma goat cheese, smoked salmon, dill and chives with toasted bread pieces at Bonterra in Charlotte. I've reported on this wine before. Debated whether to try an "old" favorite or a Sanford Pinot that I haven't had before but went with the tried and true.
Cherry/berry with spices on the nose and palate. A little like cherry liqueur in chocolate candies. Lingering finish. Forms legs on the glass. Lovely wine.
