Never had one, but we just got some 2005 Penner-Ash Willamette Vly PN into the shop. Talk to me. Do I want to try it?

Hell yes!

In seriousness, you know we drink a whole lot of Pinot, and Lynn Penner-Ash's juice is year-in and year-out one of our favorites. The '05s will benefit from a few years of bottle age, but it's drinking very well already. Just give it a splash decant and enjoy. Let me know how you like it if you decide to give it a whirl. IMHO, she's right up there with Ken Wright and Patty Green at the top from the Willamette Valley. Her new winery is gorgeous, too, if you ever get out in that neck of the woods.

DA turned me onto this one last year as well and I got some of the 2004's. They are a very nice bottle,

Dense, dark, lush but pure tight flavours and silky smooth mouth feel are my recollections of this wine. very nice especially for the price!
