Bright cherry color, clear. Slightly viscous. Cherry flavor with a richer, deeper background note. Flavor of crushed cherries and maybe a little earth. Very nice. I would rate as 88-89.
Forgot to mention the nice wine pairing with an Oregon mushroom tart (like a thin quiche) using porcini, hedgehog, and cremini mushrooms. All the food pairings were well thought out at this dinner.
